Tammy Wynette or Patsy Cline? Who had the best voice? I say Tammy. My husband says Patsy.

l ♥ both of them! thats a really hard question, but i have to say Patsy. Tammy tho, put ALOT of emotion into her songs. Patsy had more range.

Patsy Cline would have had the best and strongest voice
Tammy Wynette is good singer but a bit twangy
I enjoy both of these singers songs but patsy 1st place for voice

I think I have to agree with you. Tammy Wynette had a smoother, more melodic tone to her voice, whereas Patsy Cline's voice had a more strident, nasal quality. Irregardless, of course, both were exceptionally good at putting emotion and pathos into their songs.

I happen to love both of their voices. I couldn't pick one because it is subjective. Sometimes I prefer Patsy and other times I prefer Tammy.

These are 2 of my favorite female singers.
I can not pick which one is better, because they both sing so beautiful. SORRY but I guess I am on both of your sides. You both have good taste in country music that's for sure! So you would be crazy if you didn't stand by your man!

I liked them both. They each had their own uniqueness that they brought to country music. I don't know how to say one is better than the other, when they were so different in style. I choose both singers and both styles!
