My husband and I are TTC. We had intercourse on the night before I was to ovulate (9/17). Last week, I felt funny. I woke up with sweats on Thursday and Friday. I took a HPT, but it was neg. Thurs, Fri, and Sat I spotted hot pink! But Sat it was grey/green slime and black clots. By Sat. night I was bleeding so hard it was soaking a tamp and a pad w/in an hour or two- this continued through yesterday (monday) and then stopped- completely stopped. Now I'm cramping like crazy in my back and my lower left front.

My only concern is that I thought this was a period, just that it had come early- but I also had no PMS (I'm a hard PMSer) Another HTP Sat and one yesterday both were Neg.

I've never spotted in my life. I'm always 26-28 days on cycle. And my real period isn't even due until 10/4 or 10/5.

I hate Drs. I really have a Dr phobia. If I go there, what are they going to do to me? How are they going to know if this is a really early miscarry or an early and agressive period?

If it was an early miscarriage there really is nothing to do anyway. When someone miscarries so early there is no chance of anything being left behind, like can happen farther along. I would just wait and see what happens. You may ovualte earlier or later this month so I'd be careful to watch for that. Good luck!

When I had my miscarriage I had similar symptoms. When I went in they really didn't have much of an answer for me except for the fact that since I was cramping and I was having heavy clots that it was a miscarriage. To be sure I had to go back twice for blood tests to see if my hormone level was changing. So until the blood tests came back they considered it a "threatened abortion".

But if you're having that greyish discharge, that's pretty much a really bad sign. Ecspecially with the clotting. I'm really sorry to hear this.

A doctor can't tell you if you've miscarried or not unless they can see some of the embryo still left in your uterus. If you got a negative test each time, I'd say it wasn;t a miscairrage, though. I would, however, see your doctor anyway. You shgould make sure you have a clean bill of health before you get pregnant.

I would tell yu to call your doctors office and talk to the head nurse and ask him what they think it might be.
