Being in romantic type love ...

It is the way I feel when I am around her or talking to her. I look forward to her conversation, hearing what she thinks.

I will have a giddy feeling inside and can feel tugs on my heartstrings. I feel very protective of her (hopefully not over-bearing) and want to give great attention to her needs, really listen to what she tells me. In addition, it is the way she interacts with me - demonstrates that she sincerely cares about me, my well-being, too. She takes my feelings into consideration so it is not "all about her." (Talking a "balance" here.)

The sexual chemistry is a totally satisfying thing if I have gone so far as to fall in love with her personality and her ways.

She has to really mean something extra, extra special to me for me to get these kinds of feelings. It is about mutual trust and sincere caring about each other - you know, wanting the very best for each other. Being in love means letting go of the selfishness of being single and opening the door to deep sharing, the desire to be honest with another person and not hide things or play games.

that's a very difficult question and i don't think love can be defined easily...i mean if it's so easy to comprehend,we wouldn't be faced with so many problems related to love...look at the questions people asked on this site!!! are they even related to love...everyone seems to have their own definitions and they vary according to age group / gender / culture etc.

maybe it's a pursuit...just like happiness???

I don't think I can. It's a feeling, an emotion, a state of being. For me, seriously dyslexic and afraid of words, it's impossible to describe.
I hope you get good answers!
