I am a 63 year old American Male (Man) I am not influenced by media hype and I wear whatever color suits me that day, including pink. I wear the pink with a grey suit and it looks great.

I will sometimes check with my 20 something daughters about what colors or styles mean to fashion conscious persons because I do not want to make it look as if I am gay or something like that. Gay should stay clear of me. I think they are an abomination of Gods creations that should be eliminated from the gene pool.

No, they do not.

Years ago that would ring true, but not anymore. Pink was considered a "female" color. Why the "real men wear pink" came about is because as it was a feminine color, only a man who was confident and comfortable in his masculinity could get away with wearing pink. He was a "real man".

These days men wearing pink isn't a sign of confidence in their masculinity however, it is a sign of being in touch with his feminine qualities. A guy wearing pink nowadays would be viewed as possibly being homosexual, not as being confident as a "real man" (in the traditional sense of the word). Therefore feminine men wear pink, not the masculine manly man this phrase was created for.

I know men that wear pink... and aren't gay, if that's what you're implying. They can wear whatever they want. I'm female, and I don't like pink at all.

If you`re a real man you do as you please and don`t let anyone dicatate what you wear or don`t wear.

I wear pink, blue green...all the colours and I`m not gay.
