Yes I would and the fact they seem not to have done (even better asked him to turn himself in) speaks volumes about why he is such a f*cked up individual.
They know who he is.......................

I dont know exactly what I would do it would depend on the issue, I doubt his parents know for all kinds of reasons.
The other thing is this boy, an i emphasise BOY who killed Rhys Jones didnt do it in cold blood, it was an accident, and I really think people should spare a thought for him and his family, and ask yourself if you did something by mistake and caused this public outrage would you put yourself up for a public hanging,
as ive said many times before my heart breaks for Rhys family and I hope they find who did it and he comes forward by making out he's the evilest man in the world it wont happen!
How can YOU possibly call him a little idiot, how do you know what happened in his life to start of a chain of events that ended in someone elses life ending, What happened was tragic but how do you know the tragedy wasn't on both sides of the gun. The tragedy is now both sides of the gun! two childrens lives are over!
Rather than judge you need to look at what made a 16 year old boy take a gun out with him! you might live in a bubble but its our society that created a need for some to protect themselves via guns

YES! And as for sparing a thought for the lad who shot him,
at 16 he is not a child he knew guns can kill it is that kind of namby pamby attitude that has got this country into the state that its in, the little thugs think they can do what they like knowing that there will be do gooders ready to make excuses for them.

I would have no qualms...this person is a cold blooded murderer if he gets away with this one what next....I know parental love is un-conditional but not to turn him in is condoning what can never be acceptable behavior...if the parents don't hand him in then we can expect the same again at sometime in the future...

Hell, yeah. If my son or wife or even my own mother commits a crime, they are going to jail. Odds are the person the crime was committed against is someone's son or daughter, too. I would raise my kid to know the difference between right and wrong, and more importantly, that there are consequences to your actions. If you do the crime, you do the time. End of story. Doesn't matter if it is your son or relative.

I wouldn't turn any of my family members or loved ones in. Plain and simple.
Truth be told, it may be that I wouldn't care about the family in question's concerns; however, we are living in a very selfish world, aren't we?
I couldn't be the person to put my own son in prison, however. One may say, "Oh, well, he brought this on himself," however, turning him in would never sit well with me.
A total question of morality, really: but when it comes to my own immediate family, I would personally never turn them in. Though, none of loved ones would commit such a heinous crime. :p So, this topic is truly null and void!
