Many folk don't know this 'factoid' about the cyber world, LadyG and may believe caps are easier to read [?] when aside from the yelling aspect, is actually quite the opposite...caps are harder to read IMO.

It's not the cap's that bother me so much, it's the one's that type in text. It's so hard to read and understand what they are trying to say. And they do not use punctuation. Cap's is just for lazy people that do not want to hit the cap button in the start of a sentence then go on to lower case. I only use cap's if I want to state a fact or make it real obvious. It's hard to show emotions on here when you are typing something.

You know, I used to do this just to make a point. I didn't do it out of ignorance or rudeness. I just didn't know it was the wrong thing to do. Now, I will once in awhile throw in a word in capital letters just, as before, to make a point. I have noticed that some people write their entire post in capitals. It doesn't bother me one way or the other I guess. But now that you've brought it up I see what you mean. Have a lovely day dear
Lady G and thank you for your kind words re my surgery. Bless you.

maybe it's to prevent having to use the shift key. It also makes typing a lot faster. Not necessarily yelling at you just being lazy. Sort of like using text instead of spelling the words out correctly. This whole world is converted to what's easier.

Do caps offend you?
Do you "feel" violated?
Why do you hate free speech?
Do you want all passion and emotion that is expressed to stop.
Go else where if caps bother you.
Lets say to HECK
Maybe you would like a place that freedom of emotion and passion are forbidden and they remove all CAPS keys from Keyboards?

Who said it's equivalent to YELLING? SOME YAHOO OR SOME AOL NIMROD? Just like some know nothing said EWWW ELEVATOR MUSIC IS SICKENING. So, to be cool, 'everyone' has to hate elevator music. I like calm music. Deal with it.
I wish ALL CAPS was all I had to WORRY ABOUT. Move on with your life.

I don't happen to believe that
its the equivalent of Yelling.
I use CAPS to make a
definitely emphatic point.
What I really need today are some more pitiful RULES!!!

It is impossible to know who may be hard of hearing, so to be sure all can hear, caps are used. SEE!
