While on vacation, I enjoy alcohol in the evening. While driving on a road trip or on an airplane, I have to consciously drink less coffee and water than I normally do due to the inherent lack of predictability associated with finding the next bathroom at a time when the flight attendants are insisting that I remain in my seat!

I make it a point to check out the bars and restaurants. Gives me a good break after a whole day of explorations.
That is why I asked in one post whether people would spend a holiday in a place where liquor is not served (was contemplating to finally go to a nearby destination I have always ignored - Brunei). That , to me, is unthinkable.

I have an unquenchable thirst for traveling BUT I try to limit my liquid intake while still in the car or plane - to avoid constant pee breaks...hahaha. As far as alcohol goes, I would sometimes indulge myself but it's something I can live without.

That sounds like the way I lived the past 11 years of my life. Literally...I was doing other things in addition to drinking of course. This guy might not have felt any pain by the end of his shows, but I certainly felt the pain after several "seasons" living the way I did.

Very. Which is why I always bring mineral water with me. If not, a bottle of coke will do. And the reason why my husband often grumbles when we go on a trip or trek...we make so many stop-overs...can't help it, it comes with the thirst, you know.
