Does them only speak like this to tourists?

Yes it is very nice film. And the starring Takeshi Kaneshiro is half Japaense/Taiwanese. And the cosutume designer of the movie is Emi Wada, she was a partner of Director Akira Kurosawa.
Did you watch Japanese dabbed film in Japan?
I don't get your Q. but..probably the conversation is not in the movie.

No one said any Japanese phrases in this movie because it's a Chinese movie. They were speaking Mandarin Chinese.

The Japanese use a writing system that is similar to (and based on) the one used by the Chinese, but their spoken language is unrelated to any Chinese dialect. Japanese sounds about as much like Mandarin as English does like Russian.

I think your confused.... this is a Chinese film/story not Japanese. Did you see any samurai in it? Obviously, not but I guess you probably thought you did haha!!

yeah, and i saw Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon last night, and i didn't see and tigers or dragons.
i guess they were all hidden, or crouching.
