I don't believe in the "whole" soul mate theory because usually those who believe in it wholly feel there is only one person for them and that they must marry that person.
I believe there are "many" soul mates, many people who we have been together with in the past (wherever the past was), and that back in the past one could have been a father and one a child, or they could have been siblings together, etc. any type of situation.
I married my soul mate...it lasted 3 years...that's how I know.

I found mine 3 1/2 years ago - we couldn't be together at the time, but he has almost got his life sorted now :)
There is a theory that you can have several soulmates, but it is rare to meet more than one in any lifetime.
There are also 'Twin Souls', who are people you feel related or connected to, but not in a romantic way.

Hi Kev, Yes i believe in soulmates but I don't have one. The closest person for me as a soulmate is Rachel (Elephante!)

I did when I was a lot younger. But now I think that there are certain compatible people out there that you could have a good and loving relationship with.

Not really because love is so changable! if you are not loving & kind & full of praise etc to your partner they will look elsewhere especially if elsewhere is very loving & kind & full of compliments & sweet talk & praise so you start to like that because you are missing it at home
