I'm not fond of Americans - Just hearing their accent is enough to make me vomit and I loathe everything that is "The American Dream".

I hate their way of life, their consumption of everything natural, the fact they have to Super Size everything and generally, that they exist - Except for a few underdeveloped countries, I beleive Americans are the worst, most self-centered suck up, mindless lemmings on the face of this earth.

Does anyone else feel the same? Reasons?

Feel free to slate me, but if you do, with reasons please.

For all those that think I am begging for it and am a bigot.

I asked for reasons on both sides.

I just have the balls to say what I feel.

What about you?

And for those Americans that feel I am saying something bad about their country, I'm not.

I just don't like Americans - America itself is quite nice but the infestation that lives there is a problem.

Not sure that i could feel that much hatred for anyone , let alone a country . A country does not make its people . the people make the country , and most Americans are fine individuals .
Just like any country ( ours included , UK ) have many faults as do their inhabitants .

sure as hell dont know what Anax finds funny about watching the twin towers burning down , or a man falling from them , lots of Natinalities lost people in there , even some English , nothing to laugh about in my opinion

OK buddy your really making me mad now!!
Just kiddin' by the way you didn't say where your from?

I am an American and I get out of the counrty quit a bit, my husband is not an American and I live outside of the US. However, I love Americans. My husband can give witness to the fact being from another country (Jamaica) that Americans are the most generous people in all the world! His country has those that are jealous of Americans-you know the haters, but when it comes to the tourist they would rather have an American any day of the year! He also says they (Americans)listen to them and want to hear about the way they live and such. Americans care about people we give and give and give, we serve and go to the farthest countries and the poorest to help those in need. So I am proud to be an American because of those qualities.

However, there are those in AMerica and especially those who never leave America who live in this fish bowl mentality. They have no understanding of life outside of the US they get this better than thou attitude and seem to think because we are free and fought for our freedom that no one else in the world has fought for their freedom and so they get what's coming to them. Hmmm that is upsetting to me cause I know not only do these other countries fight for their freedom but they have never been free. SO they live in povery in every way possible. I love the people in other countries to because of their HUMBLENESS, their innocence too. I love all people from all countries we all have our stuff that gets on each others nerves. But I will say this after spending time in a lot of places around this world NOTHING COMPARES to the USA and everything it has to offer, it is a land of security and comfort. God Bless us all.

I think you would find, if you travelled in the USA, that Americans are generally likeable and kind.

Some of the stereotypes you mention have a basis in truth, but it is important for you to realise that for a long time the US and US culture has been used as a scapegoat for problems by other countries, including the UK.

It`s important to note, also, that generally it is the worst and the best of a society that we encouter and remember. We rarely notice Joe-average, who usually is a quiet, unassuming fellow.

Americans are Black .White, Brown, Red.......
Americans have round blue eyes ,Slanted brown eyes, flashing black eyes....
Americans have southern accents ,Eastern European accents , Asian accents, English accents........
Americans are Poor , wealthy , educated, Hard working , some are lazy, some are bigots ,some are loving ,altruistic, generous, kind.
Americans are Muslims , Jews, Christan , agnostic , Wicca......
Americans are a cross section of the rest of the world----Whoa buddy ! That's one heck of a lot of people to hate.Perhaps you need to lock yourself in an attic ! Or grow up and join the rest of the universe.
Find something better than the human race to hate----Like bigotry, HIV, cancer, hunger .................
Americans have fought ,died and given up limbs and sight fighting for your right to say what is on your mind -right or wrong. Some of them were my relatives ,friends and ,neighbors.
Some of them were from other countries originally , All of them have ancestors from every other Nation on Earth ---That's a lot of "hate"
I feel so sorry for you , how miserable you must be !!!

I'm not an American, but I do live in the United States. My observations of Americans since living here have brought mixed feelings. On the down side, they tend to be arrogant, self-centered, money focused, heavy consumers. On the up side, many of them are generous and polite. I have never felt unwelcome in this country.

I think this is all a result of their culture and what is ingrained in them from the time they were children (ie. extreme patriotism). They're not inherently bad, but they have a messed up government and what seems to be bad priorities.

I can't wait to move back to my home country, but in the mean time I will enjoy it here in America.

the situation is that united states of america thinks that is owed something. As a rustic human beings are very insecure. "Why did no longer you thank us?" "Why do no longer you like us?" that is not stable adequate for united states of america to be the richest and maximum excellent. It desires to be enjoyed. that is totally needy. while it would not get what it needs, it throws a temper tantrum. On behalf of something of the international I say thank you. Now go away us on my own.

unfortunately I don't agree with you at all.....
I'm crazy about Americans , probably 'cos I'm Italian... and we have always loved America , as you know lots of Italian immigrated there at the beginning of the 20s.... they saved us during the war... in a sort of way we're grateful to them.... but it's not for this reason... I just like everything that is the 'American Dream' ..... whoooooooo
.. OK, their accent is terribly strong, their way of life, their way to think might sound a bit weird.... probably that's why I like them.....

Americans come in all shapes and sizes and all races and creeds so that is a lot of people to hate, i think you hate everything including yourself. You should be more positive and look at all the good things that the Americans have done, don't just look at all the negative things, this is more a reflection of your character rather than a rationale critique.

well it sings both ways i guess, im from the uk aswell mate and sometimes i can't stand americans but some are polite and they know their country isn'y what its cracked up to be.

i mean take our country for example we have chavs trashing our streets people scumming off our benefits and we are basically a free ride for all the people abroad who want an easy life.

so i guess it depends, yes some amercians are downright moronic immature unreasonable patriotic and hypocritical, but we have the same here buddy..

Which accent are you referring too? The American Dream changed a LONG time ago. Our way of life? I don't super size anything that I order. I think you don't know anything about Americans other than what you hear and see on the television. And your question is most boring and immature.
I hate little boys who spout off about subjects they know nothing about.
