Step OneClarify what love is for you. Write down all your thoughts and feelings about what a loving relationship would be like for you.
2Step TwoDistinguish between love and lust or infatuation. Lust is an intense sexual desire. Infatuation refers to the initial stage of a relationship, when you are "crazy" about him/her, but this feeling usually fades over time.
3Step ThreeAsk other people how they define love or know if they love someone.
4Step FourWrite down how you do feel about him/her. For example: you enjoy his company, have similar interests, feel safe, trust him/her, think s/he is attractive, etc.
5Step FiveThink about how well the two of you relate to each other. For example: How well do you communicate with each other? How do you deal with conflict? Do you bring out good or bad parts of each other? Can you show different sides of yourself?
6Step SixAsk yourself if you see and accept him as a whole person. Love isn't just loving the parts of him/her you like, but choosing to love him/her overall.

There are many different types of love. As humans, we fall in and out of love throughout most of our lives (I would venture to say from late childhood and so on).

When you truly in love with someone, you'll know it. It's that whole, "I'd throw myself in front of a speeding car for them; I'd take a bullet for them; I want to wake up each and every day, wrapped up in their arms and legs; I want to grow old, possibly have children, with them; I want to do absolutely everything I can to make them feel special and loved; I want to make it so they can never feel pain; so and so forth" feeling.

Like I said, though, there are varying degrees of love. Perhaps you're wondering if that crush you have on someone is love or just lust. Well, if you have any of the above going on, you could be on your way to love.

Though, only you can know if you really love them. :)

When you become a servant to certain person or principle then you are in love with that person or principle.
The moment you want to order or catch hold it will run away.
The very effort to Love is a hindrance for love.
When you Love you don't love because you want to Love.
Love is Happening always just stop your effort to Love or hate then what ever remains is Love itself.

God Bless you.

When you are willing to sacrifice anything and everything for the one you love and demand nothing in return, only then you will know that you are really in love.

Otherwise it is just an infatuation for physical attributes.

we can come to know this by-
1. when to whom we love, we have feelings for her.
2. when we cannot see her in trouble anytime.
3. when we are sleeping or sitting idle we are always thinking of her.
4. when we share all our problems and good times with her.

When you can look at the other and imagine yourself getting old and insane with them.
And when no matter where you both are, how bad your days have been, you can look into the other ones eyes and know your home and safe.

Well if your heart beats ninety to nothing when you see him/her
When your tempreture rises just at the sound of her/his voice
When you cant eat, or sleep or do anything but become sad when the person is not in the same space...when close is not close enough...or you could be in lust
