You bet Ron Paul is VERY different from all the other candidates! He's not bought and paid for by Washington. He's for the American people first and foremost. I am very impressed by Dr. Ron Paul, to say the least! We need someone like Ron Paul. American's are just plain brainwashed by the media. They don't want to read and think for themselves. Why have we given the Gov't so much power? People in America need to wake up and realize that our gov't does NOT have our best interests at heart. They could care less about us. Wake up, people, and let's take back our country. Our gov't is as corrupt as the mafia. America needs a change. Ron Paul is the best candidate for President!

If you think Ron Paul is the only candidate that has plans written out, then I don't think that you have read up on all the candidates.
Ron Paul seems to have a very simplistic mindset. He is all talking points and doesn't appear to have any real solutions. We live in a global world and there is no way we can withdraw ourselves and hide. He works on fearmongering and has very little to no influence within Congress. Essentially he couldn't get anything done even if he where elected President.

I just read his site as well and was a bit surprised. I can't say as I agree with his positions entirely, but of all the republican candidates he looks the best. I match up better with Obama and Biden (though I would never vote for Biden as president). It's unfortunate that he will probably not even come close to winning the primary over the Giuliani and Romney machines. I do have to say that I don't plan on voting republican in the general election, because I don't like the candidates, but if Paul and Clinton won their primaries I would definitely go with Paul.

Oh, trust me baby, I know about Ron Paul. I've researched, read, listened. Even voted for him once. Now I'm done with him. He's a total waste of a vote.

The only people who support Ron Paul are the ones posting questions on this site. I will not vote for Mr. Paul. He has no credentials as a conservative.

Ron Paul has no plans. He is all theory. "Slowly wean people off of Government reliability" is a theory. I have yet to see a plan for how he will get people off of "reliance" on public education.

You are correct but the press is already in motion to eliminate, by the large corporate structure, I believe. When Clinton mentioned that she would not do away with lobbies. She was in. Edwards on the short list. Education and interest for truth by general public down. And this is how we got here!!!! (;-}

Ron Paul is the only one trying to get rid of income tax which the supreme court ruled did not give the power to tax wages only corporate tax, profits. Wages are private property equal to work and taxation of them is a form of slavery. Tax on wages is illegal and so is the IRS, Ron Paul seems to be the only one who cares about freedoms and restoring this to America, the rest are running on the same crap they all run on. Its all a joke now. That one issue is enough for my vote, hillary is spineless and prone to illegal activity, and the rest are garbage too.
