The main issue would be sex drive. Once a month for a newly wed? That says it all. But the main symptoms include;
1.Low energy level.
2.Irritability and depression.
3.Low sex drive
Here is the test you could have him take to determine if he does have it: http://testim.com/low_testosterone_have_low_t.asp

Testosterone must be tested in a lab. Low testosterone can cause a man to have a low libido. Of course your problem may be due to several things as well. This should be discussed with a doctor. Are you and your husband sexually compatible?

Its not so much a hormone thing but more of a stress thing.
Is he getting stressed at work?
Is he getting stressed at home?
How does the house yard and car look? If its untidy he may be having trouble with energy/ coping.
Is he becoming a diabetic?
Can you take over some duties for him, eg do the mail and pay the bills?
Are you attacking him in your speech instead of praising him?
Ther is plenty to analyse here.

Your family Dr. can do a simple blood test to determine testosterone level. If it's determined that his level is low he may prescribe a topical gel cream - Androgel applied to shoulders, stomach or back in the morning to bring the level within acceptable limits.
Androgel prevents osteoporosis also.

Some people just have a low sex drive, It is less usual for it to be the man, but this is not necessarily something to worry about. Try to discuss this with your husband in a non-confrontational way, as long as you are prepared to support him and love his, regardless of the outcome.

You can't convince him, without doing something ridiculously rash and bold. It's just best to let him decide on his own, and if you want to try to fix it by yourself, that other guy is right - Burger King and other fastfood joints have their meat pumped full of steroids, which will increase his testosterone level.

RE:
My Husband may have low testosterone, how can I tell?
I've tried to talk to him about it, but he gets mad and says it doesn't bother him. What's the best way to convince him to get tested. We just got married and don't have sex but once a month. We are both in our 30's. Thanks for the imput.

only way to tell is getting a blood test, inform him that it may not bother him but your concerned about it. there may be several other medical conditions that could account for his low sex drive. needs to be checked out and if found, the problem could be easily treated.

Burger King is the last thing he needs. Fat is the enemy of testosterone. What he needs to do is resistance training. He also needs more sex, meaning he needs to feel close to you. He needs to love you, not necessarily be loved by you, but he needs to forget himself and focus on you.
