Sex has absolutely nothing to do with actual morals. The problem with this question is that modern society has mixed pesudomorals with the misunderstanding of what morals really are.

Religion and the simple mind are the problem. A moral person is one with high personal standards, self imposed and unpublished so that one's actions are the results of the standards.

Peple who don't have a clue about actual morals tend to mix sanctimony and religion with the concept thereby polluting the outcome of any conclusion.

Sex is sex and morals are morals; one has nothing to do with the other.

This does not preclude an immoral person from either avoiding or commiting sex. lol

Well marriage is different than in was in biblical times; things change. No sex before marriage was no big deal back then, because couples tended to marry as young teenagers when they first became sexually active! 30 was considered old and unheard of to wait that long to get married in those days. With society changing, couples marrying at an older age, it is unrealistic to wait till marriage to have sex unless you plan on marrying at a really young age.

I will tell you however I think sex before marriage can be dangerous however. When people were more religous in this country 50 some years and couldn't have sex till marriage that gave them an incentive to get married. It also gave them an incentive to stay toghether, sex outside of marriage was a mortal sin.

Bible may say its immoral. But...would you buy a car without taking it for a test drive, especially if you intended to keep that car for the rest of your life?

If its with someone you love, why not.

If its for a quickie with a n other, still not immoral, but you should have more respect for yourself.

It all depends on the individuals personal opinion or even religion. I personally believe it to be okay, if it's with a significant other. But it's immoral, in my opinion, if you sleep around and be irresponsible about it.

Pre marital sex is fornication which is a sin according the Bible. You're only to have sex when you are married. I know that's easier said then done.
