Snakes do not pass a pure liquid waste but the urine comes out as a white solid or gel substance usually at the same time as they defecate.

Yes they do, but it is not the same consistency of what we would make. Their eliminations are sometimes part of their defense mechanism. I once picked up a beautiful water snake to show to some students of mine (age 12-14). I hate snakes but braved handling the critter because it was the most beautiful snake I ever saw. It went over like I was showing off a rusty beer can. Nobody cared and I got to trudge back to the river where I found it while feeling like a total fool. The snake had been eliminating all the while and my hands smelled like nothing I had ever smelled and terrible too. NO AMOUNT OF WASHING WOULD REMOVE THAT ODOR FROM MY HANDS.

So snakes urinate and you'd better be careful about how you handle a strange one - even if you keep it from biting it can ruin your day.
