Actually, I wouldn't favor slapping either of them.
Both are products of very dysfunctional upbringing. Their parents or guardians deserve criticism as much as they do or more.
At this moment, however, the one of these two young women that deserves the most criticism is Ms. Spears. She is not untalented and has had opportunities to achieve things based on her own abilities and capacities. Ms. Hilton is a celebrity simply because of her relationship to a rich and famous family.
Neither merits the publicity she has been given; both would benefit by being ignored by the media and the public. Britney's situation is the saddest, because she has brought children into this world who apparently have no functional parent to look toward for care and nurture.
It seems we will have yet another dysfunctional generation, unless the two children find a better caregiver or rise above their beginnings.
One can only hope.

Paris is just plain moronic and about as smart a big ole rock. Britney needs some help from someone her folks should be stepping in...forbid the family would actually look out for her.

B Spears spent maximum of her babies studying to bop or dancing professionaly. She has various capability in that physique. Hilton is a thin aneroxic drug abuser. Spears might slap Paris' head so frustrating it would spin 20 cases.
