Wow...I too am a stay at home Mom and have a degree in Fine Arts.
Unfortunately, I now am going through the empty nest syndrome. All my daughters are away in college. It is very depressing.
Enjoy the moments you have with your children.............we are/were lucky to be "Stay at home Moms".
Do tell how you are capable in inspiring your art. I guess I need some advice for my loneliness.
My degree was in History, but maybe I should consider doing something.
Organizing and cleaning just isn't doing it.
Gosh, I just read you were an excellent baker........HELP!

At the end of the summer I started a new job working for a friend of mine. I work as a salesman and I like the fact that I can do my own thing and don't have to spend too much time sitting at a desk, plus the company is small and the people I work with are great.
Prior to that I had worked 4 years as a driving instructor/in-class teacher for a prominent driving school. Before that I worked for a television network out West.
I get restless in my job if I'm no longer challenged or feel like I've done everything I can do in that company. The longest I've ever stayed with one company is 4 and half years....

I enlighten young minds and I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do because I LOVE children. Of course, the wages aren't so great either (not for the hours of my own time I put in anyway), but when a parent or a student comes to me and tells me I changed their a life ... there is NO greater reward. I still have my kids who went on to middle school come back and visit me and bring me Christmas gifts every year. Last year they they brought me a card signed by every single kid at the middle school who had been my student and I was in tears reading what these young kids had to say. Talk about feeling good about what you do!
There are days when you get down because of the stupid bureaucracy and children who have terrible home lives and I take that to heart. But I have never driven to a job every single day (for 6 years now) where I felt really good about where I was going and happy about what it is I do. I am grateful to be able to touch so many young lives! =)
Peace to you ...

I would love to do nothing but stay at the gym all day and work out. I would do Tae Kwon Do--stretch, kicking practice, forms practice. Then I would go lift weights for another 2 hours--believe me, when I do this, I don't walk around and talk to people, I really do work. Then I would go run on the treadmill for 40 minutes. --And I listen to my heavy metal music while I do this. The only time I ever really listen to music.
This is my dream--to do this everyday. But--I am now a single parent of 3 teenagers and 3 dogs,(my husband decided to pursue his dream alone) and I hardly ever go to the gym because I work myself into a frenzy trying to feed my family.

I am a Warehouse Supervisor for a freight distribution company. It's an alright job, but it's not at all what I would call a dream job. The one good thing is that I get to spend a good portion of my time working alone, and that's good because, I just can't seem to get things done as well when I've got a bunch of people hovering around me.

I'm a theoretical physics student.
I oscillate wildly between complete infatuation with the magnificent intricacies of nature and mathematics, and total despair at ever achieving anything worthwhile, and being left with a useless skill set and a burnt out mind.

Right now, I am studying and training at home in the field of Medical Transcription. Since I have already completed the home-study training course in the field of Medical Claims and Billing, I am furthering my knowledge in the Medical Office Profession, in hopes to start working full-time as a MEDICAL OFFICE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST.
By the time I finish my studies and training in the field of Medical Transcription, I hoped to be employed full-time as a MEDICAL OFFICE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST, and do super duper well in it, because it is my ultimate dream job in the world.
