I'm not sure what you mean in the context of LGBT issues. As a gay man, I don't "need" women, but my best friend is a woman. I love having women as friends and being around women. I think society and the world need smart women and I would not want to live in a world of just men. Women bring a grace, compassion and civility to society which would be absent in a violent all-male world.

By smart, are you referring to women who are constantly thinking about difficult subjects and looking spaced out, or are you referring to "wise" women? I'd say that men need wise women.

In my opinion, if a woman is not smart, living with her can be really boring and tedious. No matter how beautiful she is, she must be smart and intelligent.
