Yes I am very pleased! Andre Woodson has came so far and improved so greatly. Guys I played with in High school such as Keenan Burton (WR) Jason Leger (RG) and also my high school teammate, Brad Durham (RT) another high school teammate, and Micah Johnson(MLB) they are very good ball players and never got their credit they deserved. Yes #8 might be a little high for them, I wish they would have been 11-15 until they played SC, but their 8. This team faces so much great talent and so many good teams year after year and their finally where they belong. I hope they go undefeated, cuz everyone has looked vulnerable in the SEC this season. Go Cats! (Did I mention I live 20 minutes from the UK campus?) lol

I think we can call this an exciting state of college football at the moment... not a sad state. Right now, it looks like any team is capable of beating any team. Even LSU and USC struggled last week, so I wouldn't put either of them "head and shoulders above the competition". Right now, there are 5 SEC teams in the top 12 and 3 PAC-10 teams in the top 15. All stand a fighting chance at beating number 1 or number 2. Neither team has a cake-walk to the BCS Championship game. UK deserves their spot in the top 10. They have been playing well. It is this weeks ranking, and as long as they keep playing well, they will hold that place and gain on the leaders. It's only a matter of weeks before some of these teams start falling to each other. It should be exciting.

It just shows the parody in college football with the reduction of scholarships if you can land a couple of key skill positions during recruiting you can play with anyone on any given weekend. They still have plenty of big games to come and we will see if the ranking is deserved or not. It usually works itself out in the end.

Yeah, for now at least.

It's refreshing to see some new teams in the top 10.

But honestly Kentucky and Boston College will be sent out of the top 10 eventually.

Kind of shows the sad state of college football at the moment, where there are 2 teams who are head-and-shoulders above everyone else and 15 teams who should all be ranked #10.
