Great news. After all, America recently signed a bigger deal than that to supply Saudi Arabia with weapons, right?
Israel represents LESS THAN ONE PER CENT of the Middle East. Iran currently has 600 missiles pointing straight at the Jewish state.
Israel has never, ever threatened another country; yet Iran repeatedly vows to destroy Israel. Two weeks ago I watched the Iranian leader being interviewed by a British journalist and yet again he declared: 'The Jewish state must cease to exist.'
So if America is arming Israel, thank goodness! Israel is a tiny country surrounded by hostile, wealthy, huge Arab states. Supporting Israel is not only the right thing to do to keep the Middle East stable, it is also the morally right thing to do.
MIKE B -when you've bothered to consult a history book, then I'll happily debate these issues with you. Israel didn't 'invade' anyone - it's documented fact that in 1948 five surrounding Arab countries attacked Israel, though! Get your basic facts straight!

Wonderful and people wonder why all the Arab states hate Israel. Did it ever occur to you that when you only want to deal with one group and disregard the others, they the other people might tend to grow a hatred for the group that is favored.
Also when people question the Israeli Government it's considered anti-semetic. I like your train of thought. I hope one day you would open your eyes to how the world really works instead of the government telling you how it is. You'll be surprised.

Tabatha: You have no clue what u are talking about...Iran has NEVER invaded and stolen land from anybody. Israel has.....Israel has a multi- billion dollar high tech armed forces and a bunch of nukes paid by the US tax payer. Israel steals the land from the poor Palestine people who has no army and can't defend themselves and then Israel treats them like crap. Israel has over 160 UN resolution violations that the international community can't enforce because the U.S. has VETO powers in the UN and ISRAEL can do whatever they want with the military we pay for every year............just because you dont get informed by our media doesn't mean you have to be so naive.
