Well the people ( who are ultimately the victims of corruption )
need to just say "enough" and remove the corrupt officials ( however they need to )and make sure that anyone else who gets into an office knows they will get the same treatment if they do the same thing. You also have to pay them a descent wage or else they won't take the job in the first place, you need people who want to help the country and it's people and not themselves.

It has a lot to do with money and power. Diamonds are plentiful over there and people will stop at nothing to get what they want. Peace, i believe wont be seen in those countries for a long time mainly because the rest of the world is caught up in other stuff.

Who knows. It can't be fixed by outside forces, so at least African countries have a little edge in this over Middle Eastern ones. Change must be fought for, like the American Revolution. If France would have granted us our freedom, we'd of let it die too. Instead, we fought for it, and hold onto it until it becomes core to what we are.

This has been going on forever and will continue to go on forever. It's what has held them back, but it is also because there aren't a lot f resources there (the number of people exceed the carrying capacity of the land). The only solution would be a greatly reduced population, but since that isn't going to happen, this will consider.

Simple - power and money. How to solve it? Hard work and education. Don't play victim - do something about it. Good luck.
