Why not just wear a TAMPON. Then you won't be bleeding in the pool.
Birth control pills might help, but when you first start many women have "breakthrough bleeding" that they get without notice. You would really be better off just using tampons.

Use birth control pills. But you have to start taking them in due time... and make sure you talk to your doctor first! These pills contain hormones, and although they are in very small quantities, they can destroy the balance in your body unless you take them following a doctor's advice. Once you've started taking birth control pills, there's normally a period of 7 days when you are supposed to stop them. That's when you get something that resembles a period. But if you don't stop for 7 days and go ahead taking pills, your period will be delayed.
Hope this helps. But I would still strongly suggest talking to a doctor or someone at a family planning center.

Use delivery administration pills. yet you need to start taking them in due time... and make certain you communicate on your well-being practitioner first! those pills incorporate hormones, and in spite of the reality that they are in very small parts, they are able to wreck the soundness on your physique except you're taking them following a doctor's suggestion. as quickly as you have began taking delivery administration pills, there is generally a era of 7 days once you're meant to surrender them. that is once you get some thing that resembles a era. yet once you do no longer supply up for 7 days and pass forward taking pills, your era would be in the back of schedule. wish this helps. yet i might nonetheless strongly advise chatting with a doctor or somebody at a family contributors making plans center.

It is not a good idea to delay your period. Taking the pill on a temporary basis and for this purpose is NOT a good idea. Why don't you wear a tampon during swimming. You will not leak and no blood will go into the water.

If you are on the pill, then you can just skip the placebo or 'sugar' pills, and go straight into the next packet of active tablets. This will make you skip your period for a month, you may experience a tiny bit of spotting though.

Why don't you just wear a tampon? That's what most women do.
Unless, of course, you will be sexually active...
Talk to your doctor about your options. Yes, you can delay your period but it requires the use of hormonal birth control (the pill, in most cases).

Do not delay your period. It will give you lots of trouble later on in your life. You are just going to have to by-pass swimming.
