Probably, but I usually play some Britney Spears very loudly, that usually does the trick.

Termites live and breed deep inside the wood components of your home. As a homeowner, you probably don't have the resources to get enough insecticide deep into the wood without poisoning yourself.

Typically, exterminators will tent the house -- that is, put a huge tarp (or series of tarps) over the entire structure. They then pump the tent full of air loaded with pesticides. The tent keeps it from blowing away, allowing the chemicals to 'soak' into the wood, and kill the insects where they are living and breeding, as well as their eggs.

It is expensive, but considered effective. Repairing damaged wood without treating is a lost cause, as the insects will simply move into the new wood and make it home, too.

On a light hearted note, and with no offense. YOUR House doesn't have Termites...THEY have IT.

Certainly there will be BRAND products that might help; but the issue is DEEPER (no pun intended)

Are they Subterranean??? OR???

Obviously it's a task I leave to the Pros in the field; as the termites are also PROS at what they do.
