I find that I have the same problem. I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and i cant stomach water. I try to drink as much as i can, but its not enough. I never really liked water before falling pregnant, and its worse now with me being pregnant. I think just try to drink as much as you can when you can.

You should be drinking a minimum of 8 glasses (or 2 litres) of water per day pregnant or not, but it is even more important to drink lots of water when you are pregnant as pregnant women are prone to bladder infections that can have a spiral effect on your pregnancy and drinking loads of water prevents this. Don't forget it doesn't have to be plain water, it can consist of tea or cordials mixed with water. I found it extremely hard during my pregnancy too as I hardly drunk any water before so bought a 1 litre bottle of water and made sure that I had 2 of these a day. To be honest I never really managed 2 bottled unless I was very hot but I made up the difference with tea and cordials. When you are further on into your pregnancy you will feel your body wants more water as your body temperature will rise and you will become thirsty. It will be a lot easier to drink later on in your pregnancy. Congratulations & Good Luck!!!

When I was pregnant I seemed to dehydrate quite a lot and I was drinking at least 2 litres of water a day, I didn't really have a problem. But what you can do is have several glasses, like for example when you wake up have a glass of water, with breakfast have a glass of water, lunch etc. By the end of the day you would have had more water then you actually think and try to drink water rather then drinking tea or coffee (as the caffine keeps bub awake and active and when you get one a bit and bub starts growing and starts putting their little foot in places they shouldn't lol)

you DEFINITELY need to be consuming more water than that. if you aren't a water drinker it can be hard but you really just have to make yourself. a few years ago i never drank water, just a couple of cokes a day. what i did was got a cup of ice water and set it on my desk and every time i noticed it sitting there i would take two huge gulps of water. now i am drinking about 60-80 oz of water a day. or you can get some of those 4 oz cups, and drink a whole one at a time and just drink one of those every 30 minutes. also, one thing you can do is every time you feel hungry drink some water first, many people mistake thirst for hunger.

Drink the usual 8-10 glasses of water per day. You don't have to drink water as it is. You can have juice as another option. Just limit from drinking too much coffee or any alcoholic beverages for it might harm the baby.

You should drink at least 8 cups a day - but space it out drink a half a cup periodically throughout the day and drink with your meals before you start on other drinks. Water is important for pregnant women.

You should drink at least six to eight glasses of fluid per day (about three pints/1.7 litres). Juices can be part of that but bear in mind that they can also be quite high in calories. Caffeine-containing beverages such as coffee, colas and tea don't count as part of your fluid intake because they act as diuretics -- they make you urinate more so you actually lose water. I am 15 wks pregnant :-) and im afraid i drink too much tea lol

I tend to drink about 600ml of water a day on average. Some days I don't drink any water but I do drink cordial or softdrink.
