If you took it within 48 hours (i.e. took it on the 30th before the time on the 28th you had sex) then you can hope for an 85% success rate - that roughly means that there is one chance in six it will not work. If outside 48 hours, that drops to 58% effectiveness (so only a slightly better chance of being effective than not....)

levonelle is not 100% guaranteed even if taken straight after sex. it is best to take it within 24hrs but can be taken up to 72hrs after but the percentage rate decreases the longer you leave it.

You are not safe from pregnancy - i have taken it 2 days after and was not pregnant but it is different for different people. Your period may come earlier or later than expected because you took it.

You can check how likely you are to get pregnant depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle. Wait a week or so and take a pregnancy test.

Normally, 'the morning after' pill, is effective if taken within 48 hours of the deed.

In future, use contraception.

no i don't think u are safe, it's not 100% effective, it all depends when u had last period and whether you were ovulating at the time, i fell pregnant twice after using it
