I guess you never heard the story about all the snakes that were hissing and spitting in Mrs Potts pit. She got angry told them to go find their own pit to hiss in and to quit hissing & spitting in her pit; she had the best pit to hiss in, however, and couldn't stop all the little pit hissers from hissing & spitting in her pit so she jumped in and spit on the little pit hissers herself!

Having had a good many spits and spats - I can honestly attest ..... to never having the opportunity to physically
eject sputum on anything!
