Hi, I went in at 16 weeks of my pregnancy and my doc told me that she is 90% certain that it is a girl. My mother in law has been buying tons of pink baby stuff and now I am a but worried that it might be a boy. The ultrasound showed the baby playing with it's cord and the legs were crossed but she did get a glimpse between the legs and said it looks like a girl. What do you think? Anyone experienced something similar?

The doctor probably saw a few glances to give that high of a percentage, so I think your fine. They of course cannot guarantee 100% even if its obvious.

i'm not planning on finding out what we're having when i get pregnant because 1. if it is a girl... i DO NOT want a ton of pink. i HATE the color pink. and 2. many times they are just wrong. i was 100% a boy... until i was born and they had to think of another name because "jared" isn't a very good girl name.
i also worked with a guy whos wife was having a boy and they had 70 boy outfits and three race car car seats... and surprise!!! it's a girl!!!

be sure to keep the tags on those clothes just in case.

when my hubby and i discovered we were having a girl- saw her from the bottom and it looks like a peach, if youve gotta boy hell look like a turtle-as for the pink clothing, keep the tags on the items until you get further along or baby is born, when you return things take to the store and say you got them as a gift- most places arent too finicky when your returning these items- they understand that people get gifts and often too many or too small of items, so it shouldnt be a hassle...good luck!!
