The most simplistic approach informs me that we are aliens in this world; as a matter of fact we are alien in the entire universe. If this were not the fact then how would you explain people asking for directions only when they are at a place that they are new comers to? Our need to interface with our new environment that we are evolving into necessitates an inquisitive, inquiring and curious mind, the mind that asks questions. Whereas, the essence that is in disguise, the physical form, is a divine will that expresses its self from beyond the reaches of time and the reign matter, form a world of pure light or concept, onto this baser dimension and ask no question in a constant state of blissful being. We thus stand in the middle searching, all inquisitive and curious.

The seeker. The seeker of truth. whether it the big 'Truth' or simply some truth the seeker seeks the knowledge from whatever the source that is available.

Just as we all have graduated from the alphabets , here , too, we graduate from seeking simple things to larger issues.

Just look at the way Yahoo! has subdivided the subjects into many . You have chosen to ask your question in the philosophy category as you are a seeker of self knowledge.

It seems to me that you asks this question here.

I am not typing the words. My fingers do that. I come up with an answer the same as you came up with this question and we let our instrument (the body with all its functions) do what we want.

The non dualists believe there is no one there. They believe that the words are typed by no one. They really believe this. !Its so simple really. I type the words. I ask the question. Sometimes we try to complicate the simple.

No, I assure you, it is me- I have formulated the question at an earlier point, and remember it long enough to type it down.

I like YD's answer too though- 'They call him the seeker- he's been searchin' low and high-yi- He's not gonna get what he's after till the day he dies'

bad philosophy. thats junk, to be honest. its we alone who type the questions. if you identify an individual with soul or the mind, in either case our bodies are a part of us, as our soul/mind is contained in it and the body is in our total command.
if you mean something else, some hazy unclear sort of thing. ofcourse its nonsense .
