There is a focus adjustment on the side of the EHT transformer. The thick cable going to a "sucker" on the tube comes from this transformer as a clue. Do not poke under the sucker....it will bite even with the power off!

This is usually near the picture end of the tube sticking out of the side of a perforated aluminium box.It is usually white plastic, quite large and has a screwdriver slot in the end.

Restore power and display a picture after removing the case.
Word of warning, there are some high voltages lurking around that can brighten your day briefly if you are not careful.
Turn the adjustment either way with a small insulated screwdriver until the focus is as good as you can get it.

Remove power and put its coat back on.

It depends what moniter your using, try going to start>run>and typing "dxdiag" to check if you have all the updated graphic monitor drivers installed and your all up to date, also check you have the correct graphic card in place as this caused me a few problems. If you still have problems post up your dxdiag results here and i'll see what i can do.

if its a tube monitor it may be just going out ... i would try reloading the video driver anyway ...
