we used to have an avon man
and when i left school i was the the milk girl.......does that count

Have never seen a man as an Avon rep' but many years ago I believe some women did deliver milk,just as there are women posties now & in the past.

There was a guy at one company I used to work for who sold Avon for his wife. The milk woman part I don't know about as milk was usually delivered before dawn when no one else was awake

Milkwoman yes! We had one many moons ago! She was lovely too! Always chirpy, big bright smile and e all loved her.
Avon man no LOL I can just imagine it 'Ding dong Avon calling' And a big burly man standing at the door telling me how they have a special offer on lip gloss LOL

yes, ,me!! seriously i used to be a avon rep about 15 years ago. i gave it up after 2 years because i moved house and they had a rep already in my new area so i didn't do it there
