I do like the way i can pick and choose my friends..and i would have liked it better if the same was to apply to relations..
However we must make the best of what we have ..unlike friends you cannot walk a way from relations...lol

Yes I do like the fact that you can pick your friends and not your relations.But, I can assure you when you are in real need of help your relations step forward first. REMEMBER! Blood is thicker than water.

l am glad l can pick my friends and so far am lucky to have the ones l have....relations l think if we were allowed to chose we would exchange them all the time

yes it is nice, although I have such a big family that I get to pick which relations I spend time with and which I pretend don't exist...

i love my relatives, i go out with my sisters and go drinking with my cousins, my brother who i see every other day moved to Scotland yesterday and i was like a mad woman crying and pleading with him not to go, i know he and his family had to move because of jobs but it still broke my heart, i also have a best friend of 27 yrs and that's all i need, other people are acquaintances
