I'm happy they're being taken away but the whole case is sad in itself. A mother loses out on knowing the love for her children, the father loses out on a loving mother being involved with her kids and the children lose out on having a loving, stable mother and father. Having a dad who's primarily interested because it keeps the checks rolling in is hardly congratulatory.
I really feel for those gorgeous kids. Money or not, they aren't going to receive the most healthy environment...but it is heartwarming that mommy won't be able to do anymore damage than she's already done.

Sorry but i wouldn't use the term pleased...it doesn't please me whatsoever to see a mother lose her children...its an awful situation and to be honest Miss Spears needs some serious help urgently !
But that's the price of fame isn't it for some people ?
I would say she needs some REAL friends and not the hangers on that many of these celebs seem to class as friends...i wonder where they all are now..standing by her ?
I bet there not !
Next thing you will hear is that she's tried to take her own life or something..very sad for such a young woman !
Yes i think the judge made the right decision..and it won't have been easy...but it certainly doesn't please me to hear such sad news !

I think she has a mental health problem, should have had more support years ago, and should be getting support now. Mental health, alcoholism, drug addiction, all illnesses which are treatable, now, where are all the people that encouraged her (dealers, hangers on etc), I bet they won't stand up and be counted, her children will probably support her when they are old enough to do so. In the meantime, it is sad to see children taken from their parents. She has been deemed negligent, are the McCanns not also negligent?

I think this is the right decision for now, Britney
needs some space to get herself back together again.
Don't forget this kid has been in the public eye since she was
10 years old. She made a rotten marriage had 2 children
in 2 years and is problably suffering from post natal depression.
She needs serious help. Hope she gets it and wins her kids
back. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I don't think pleased is the word I would use myself. These kids are real and now will have to live with the fact that their mother couldn't get it together to keep half custody in 2007. That's going to last their entire lives. So pleased, no. Did the courts do the right thing? Probably should have made a move before she had offspring.

there is nothing to be pleased about I don't know Britney and what life has taught her, to much to young and she is paying the price her children will be fine with their dad and this will give her a chance to sort her self out maybe get out of the spot light and chill out or do something that makes her feel better about herself if she wants its all down to her and what she wants. you on the other hand are just bad minded

I think the girl is in some serious need of help from people other than the 'yes men' she employs around her.
She is a young girl, a mother at breaking point.
I also dislike the way many people seem to relish observing someones fall from grace.

It's a shame that the McCanns did not live in the same state as Briteny Spears as the same thing would have happened to the McCanns.

I try not to think too much about it. I am past the age when celebrities' lives are very interesting to me.
I was concerned for all the young fans she has, she was setting such a poor example for them. Maybe now those fans will become disillusioned, and realize the consequences of her behavior.
