You could have a yeast or bacterial infection going on in there. That could explain why he now has this rash and irritation too.
Although,
You did say he bathes once a week and this worsening odor appeared after having sex with him...so maybe it was HE who gave something to YOU! I don't mean STD (though that's possible). But bacterial, yeast, fungus infections........Weekly showers are very unhygienic to say the very least. Just think of that unwashed penis entering you time and again! You need to see a doc for this to be sure of what you're dealing with, and he needs to as well. PLUS.....he needs to bathe more frequently. That's just nasty. Sorry.

You have a yeast infection known as Thrush. Don't worry, it doesn't mean you are dirty and it is quite common. It is NOT a sexually transmitted disease. It is caused by the build up of yeast in your body. You can go to the chemist and buy over the counter creams and gel for this and then it will clear up pretty quickly. Your bf can use it too.

you should shower less, you can create problems for yourself doing that... tone yours down some. he should shower more he can create problems for you by not being clean enough. there is always a possibility that he is allergic to you or your soap, change soaps an see what happens. if it persists try a condom, if he only has a rash on the exposed sections of skin then you have a pretty reliable test. but work on the shower thing less an getting him to more......perhaps together lol. try starting there, its a whole lot less expesive that a doc trip.
good luck

There are a ton of things this could be. Either an STD or an infection of some sort, there are about a dozen. Your best bet is to go to a GYN to find out for sure. But you have to get in quick. If this has been going on for over a year, you could be risking your ability to conceive children. Get to a Doc A>S>A>P>..........

It might be a yeast infection, or Bacterial Vaginitis, or an STD...the best thing to do is to go see a doctor and let them take tests to see whats wrong, as for your boyfriend, not showering for a week is unsanitary and not healthy, this is definetely contirbuting to your odor....hope you feel better :)

To put your mind to rest you will need to see your GP / Sexual Health Worker/ Women's Health Clinic. You may require a vaginal or urethral swab a urine sample a pelvic exam and pap smear.
You may find that you have a high acidity or;
vaginal infection or:
Urinary tract infection. For these you may require antibiotics or for thrush some canestin pessary.
Your boyfriend will need to be treated as well as you if you are both infected.
All the best..............

I would say that you have either a yeast infection or a intra-uterine infection. Both will cause odor. He can catch an infection from you through intercourse. I'd see a doctor for a diagnosis and treatment. Good luck.

Seems that cleanliness is an issue for him. He needs to wash his member, especially after sex. Speaking of which, it sounds as though this is unprotected sex, BAD IDEA. You are talking about him putting his dirty member inside of you. See where/how that could also be a bad idea? Anyway, as to your problem, now that yoiu are sexually active you should be seeing an OB-GYN. I would talk to her regarding your discharge/odor issue. Good luck

It's hard to know if you have an infection or not. I'd see a gyno immediately to rule out an STD. Do you douche? I'd try that and see if it helps at all. There are some women who are truly allergic to their partner's semen but that is very rare and unlikely.
Seeing a doc should get this figured out. Good luck.
