Because wanting what we DO have is redundant. (If we want it, and we CAN have it....) Besides, it's a challenge.

Wow, your avatar changed while I was looking at it! How did you get it to do that?? I changed my avatar's outfit about two weeks ago, and it changed everywhere but HERE! Everyone is complaining about the avatars. What's your secret??( I look so Good! in the new outfit....!) }:>

It's psychological. It's the thrill of the chase. It's like Carly Simon sang, Anticipation. My mother always says "Anticipation is everything." If you can't have it, you want it. If it came to you easily it would be worth nothing because you did not have to want it--make sense?

It always gives you something to work for, it's all about chasing after what you desire. Life would be no fun if you had it all already.

Nature of the beast I guess...

We all like to decide whether we want things or not as opposed to someone/something telling us how it's going to be.....

because we don't know what the good is so we spend time pursuing what we think will make us content and then we get it and realize that we're still not content.. so we set our sights on the next thing and so on
