I have a 300W PSU in my computer. My new card says minimum of 350W. I only have 2x256MB of ram, athlon 64 3500+ CPU, 80gb HD, 3.5floppy, USB firewire card and one DVD burner in my PC. What would happen if i just plug the card in and see if it works? Would it damage anything because there isnt enough power? Or would the computer just not turn on?

I put my video card in with only 250 watts--it works fine. I just tried it and hoped for the best.
