You are so lucky to have such wonderful friends. Now do not get me wrong here. I am not sitting on the pitty pot. I use to have wonderful friends. Then I became sick with lung disease in which I had not smoked. I was near death. I was taken out of town. Was in the hospital 30 days. Less then one hour away. They would not come and see me because the price of gas was to high. So be thankful for your friends when you have them. You never know when they will turn on you. I was hurt. I cried and I ended the friendship. They kept pro missing to come but always called at the last minute and said oh gas is to high.
It was devestating for me. Every day I watched floral cart go by my room and I waited for it to stop. Thinking someone would send me flowers. I had to start walking to get my strength back and I would walk by all the rooms and see all of these patients with so many flowers. It was like a florist. I was not allowed to leave the floor. But one day I was going to give the aid 25 dollars and ask her to go down to the gift shop and bring me flowers. Damn, I am crying just thinking about it.
I was to ashamed to have to let anyone know that I would have to buy my own flowers. But everyday I watched and waited for that cart to stop. I was there over 30 days. And it was very lonely. I am a single mom, and sometime my daughter would get to come and see me. My mom would bring her.My daughter wanted to buy me flowers and my mom said no they cost to much.
So now, my daughter and I put together baskets and take them up to the nursing home here in town and we randomly give them out. We do this monthly.
Sorry for the tears here....It was wierd that no one in my family sent me flowers or my friends. I do not know if it hurt more or was more sad.
When I returned home I called the florist and sent fresh flowers to all of my friends wishing them a happy spring. Not even a thank you from them.

definite I even have got here out of a 23yr heroin dependancy and now i'm in school doing get admission to to social artwork and all the acquaintances i had i had to flow away in the back of and get on with being alive. i'm a needless to say being concerned man or woman who likes to help human beings and receives a kick out of it.ought to i be in a extra efficient place. playstation i'm pissed.

I must say yes.....I also have the "bestests" friends.....and lucky to have around more than 5....real good friends!!!
but let us give credit to ourselves because in order to have good friends...you need to be one.
