He sat right behind the plate and had a little dog with a Rockies hat and shirt on. At first I thought it was a baby, because he was holding it over his shoulder for awhile.. but for the last 4 innings, the dog just sat on the ledge infront of him.

Is he like the owner? Does Coors Field allow dogs for some crazy reason.. he obviously was not blind.

LOL, I noticed that too! It took me a couple of innings before I could tell if it was a baby or a dog. When he was holding it over his shoulder like that it looked like it may have been a baby wearing a hat or something.

I'm sure the dog had a good time at the game, especially the dramatic come from behind win in the 13th inning. After all, being a dog, I'm sure he knew exactly what was going on!

I noticed this, too. I didn't turn the game on until the seventh inning, and the dog was sitting on his lap most of the time. At first, I thought it was a toy, but the pooch was moving his head. The fan certainly wasn't blind, so it wasn't a seeing-eye dog. The guy didn't stand when all the other fans were standing, but he clap his hands above his head.

He was in view of the center field pitcher / batter camera the entire time.

When they counted the attendance, did they count the dog?

Me and my dad were laughing about that! The fat guy with a dog that was all dressed up for the Rockies. I think the dog was small enough that he hid the dog under his XXXL T-shirt.

Right. The only blind man was the home plate umpire for calling Holliday safe on that last play.
