What if you had to move away from your home town when you were 15, then in H.S. you chose friends perhaps known as the "druggies", started smoking pot, eventually drinking, and blacking out 3 times a week from getting drunk. I can't smoke pot anymore, or drink. How do you start over again? I don't even want to do that stuff even though I can't anymore (other issue) so wein, wine, cry, yeah , yeah., why not try this question

Moving doesn't help with friends. I think it's more a "habit" of not thinking that you will keep the friends you make. I moved a lot too and I don't feel that I have a lot of friends myself. I have maybe 3 close friends, a lot of "hang out" friends, maybe 10-15.

I have no friends. I'm an emo kid. I cut myself at night and cry myself to sleep while I listen to My Chemical Romance. I wish I had some friends who could help me put on my eyeliner and pick out the best black leather clothes to wear.

Friends, although they can come and go, are easy to get. :)
Just try networking through meetup.com for people or whatever else you like.
