Depends on the law and custody if that's the situation i don't think at 13 you should be deciding to make a big decision like that maybe 15 or 16 it's up to the parents to decided the soul provider is responsible for that child usually the mother gets the child in a custody battle unless she seems unfit, if one parents willing to go through that and allow there child who has the full custody to decided they want to live with the other parent then it's fine usually if a judge see that the father wants to be in the childs life and the mother has been giving the father nothing but problems the judge will favor the fathers wishes. I don't know your situation with the hole custody thing but good luck thats definetly going to be a journey.

I think it is around 12. That was when my children got to decide. Of course, both parents have to be fit before the judge allows a minor the choice.
