ok so say my mum thinks i have my period but i dont yet how do i explian that to her so we could see if i could go on birth control pills to regulate my period or get it to come by some other way and how can i get my period to come soon will bc work

You can't make your body start having periods. Birth control pills are only used and given AFTER you begin having them. Everyone starts at different times. Don't stress it, let it come as it will. There's nothing you can do about it.

You don't say how old you are, but if you are 15-16, perhaps you should go to the doctor to get checked out. You can discuss things with the doctor, and she how she wants to proceed from there.

When I was 15 my mom was nervous because I hadn't had my period yet, and all the girls in her family got them around age 12. She took me to the doctor, who ended up diagnosing me with PCOS. I started on birth control pills in order to get my period.
