What does women in prison have to do with you and your circumstances. How can one give an answer to you or try to if we don't know what is going on with you. You need to go into detail as to what happen. Did you get caught up with the wrong guy and it was held against you. Courts just don't take kids away from their mothers for something small you had to of done something pretty major. Was it unjust, how are we to know when your not telling us anything.

Well you must have done something 10 years ago that caused you to lose them. Just because women are in prison, doesn't mean that they don't love their children or have done anything wrong to their children. Most women in prison just happened to get mixed up in the wrong thing at the wrong time and is having to pay their debt back to society. So, when you start wondering about why other women get to see their children and why you don't, then stop and take a good hard look at what you did, not what others did!!!

There must be a reason that you have been refused access to your children.
There are 2 reasons why women in the UK prison system are allowed to see their children. (1) The Prison System has a policy to "treat prisoners with humanity". (2) The prison system does not want to punish the children by keeping them away from their mothers.

Who has your children? Who denies you access?
Ten years is a long time in a child's life.
Why did you let them go or why were they taken from you?
((Women who get caught breaking the law are still capable of being caring loving mothers, and children need their mother's love whether from behind bars or not - this is why contact is allowed.))

Well a judge must have decided that you were an unfit mother for some reason, and it must have been a serious one if you haven't been allowed to see your children in 10 years.

sounds a little like a double standard to me! Children need the father involved! To many fathers srugg the responsibility!
Good luck!

Unless u do not have their contact details, why can't u go look for them instead waiting for them to come to you?
The info u gave is not sufficient to understand your situation at all. Maybe u would like to elaborate a little.

You are definitely not telling something because nobody can take your kids from you legally without cause.
