No one would do anything without having something to do with it...benefitting from it in one way or another. Even if it's just satisfaction or to considered nice and enerous. So to answer ur question...YES, there's always a selfish motive behind everything a person does.

I would expect so, I use to do some things for a selfish motive, thankfully I now do things for the love of them.

Well, i would hope not but i'm starting to think that there is.
I haven't ever a selfish motive behind doing something for somebody else, or even in my own agendas.... but i've learned that standard is not the case with other people.

When I stand in the freezing rain to cheer my son on at football or tag along to yet another car dealership so my DH can test drive cars we can't afford there's no selfishness on my part!
