Ahh...but life IS fair. You're just looking at it through immature eyes.
If you think, for one moment, that successful people have no problems and have not encountered any heartache in their lives, you'd be sorely mistaken.
Life is equally hard on just about everyone in different ways. But, how people handle those obstacles, difficulties, and problems thrown at them is what differentiates the winners from the losers, and the successful from the hopeless.
You cannot ever let things get you down, and you must commit to pushing yourself a little more all the time. You cannot live in the past, but you must focus on the present and the future. The past exists as a reference only, and wallowing in past sorrows is no way to live.
Life may not seem fair sometimes, but it slows down for no one. So, you must keep pressing forward to acheive your own personal and professional goals, no matter what obstacles may stand before you.
Few are able to do this, but if you're one of those few, it's worth all the effort.

Yes life would be better, if it went the way everyone wanted it to. Although that's not how life works, and we have to make the best out of life by having effort. We have to try new things, that can help make up for what didn't happen before. We can't just let the past upset us, and let us fall apart. Yes, it may be hard to deal with this, but it is how we get on with our lives.

What would you classify as fair? How would you like your life be so to call it fair.
From another perspective, one may think their life is unfair whilst some disagree. How we live our life depends on how we view it. I'm sure kids who spent their childhood in wooden houses, walked and ran away in no shoes but their childhood have their laughter moments and precious memories just as children who lived in modern houses and played chest at lunch.
Live your life rich in happiness, and you'll find all unfairness mean less to you than yesterday.

Life is inherently unfair. Whoever told you it was fair or ought to be fair was selling you a bill of goods. "Fairness" implies an arbiter to enforce fairness when the fairness gets out of balance. The only arbiter with this power -- God -- has apparently chosen to let us sort it out amongst ourselves - just as I do with my kids from time to time.
Whenever you try to enforce fairness in a society, the only equitable method is to make everyone equally impoverished.
So quit complaining about fairness, find your edge, your angle, and fight to the top of the pile with it.

If life were fair all the time we wouldn't appreciate it. There has to be some down times so you appreciate the good times. Besides it would get boring if there were no challenges.

What's unfair to one, is fair to another. How can it be fair in all ways?

Because the world can't be perfect for everyone in it all of the time, we're all too different. So it's perfect for everyone some of the time. The rest of the time we call it "unfair."

"just or appropriate in the circumstances"
Fair could mean everyone can get rich or die poor.
Fair could mean everyone has equal means.
No matter what you believe society will always be shaped by the people, so in a sense we create are own fairness.

There is no greater anguish than to be treated unfairly. All of us have experienced being treated unfairly at one time or another. It not only makes you angry, but it is very hurtful to your soul. There are lessons to learn in all circumstances, and I believe that when one is treated unfairly the greatest lesson to learn would be forgiveness. Not necessarily acceptance...but forgiveness so you can move on.
