I feel worse for animals, cuz they really can't help it, whereas homeless people CAN ACTUALLY do something about their situation to make it better~~~

the funny thing is.. i do. it breaks my heart to see any homeless animal, especially during the cold months.. most of the time they look sooo sad. I usually leave food outside my door in the summer and water and in the winter, if i see one around my apaprtment i let it in during the night..i have two dogs and am limited on what i can have so at least the poor homeless one can sleep in a warm place. Animals don't have a choice to be homeless... some people do

Sometimes i do feel worse for animals because they do not have anywhere to go and irresponible pet owners just threw them out on the streets. However for some homeless ppl i do have to feel for, because 85% of homeless ppl have some mental disease. Therefore most of them are not able to provide for themselves and keep a steady job or life. And its because of our healthcare system that so many are on the streets. On the other hand i live in an area where homeless ppl will stab ppl if they dont give them money. So unfortuntely i just wanna save all the homeless animals because they give soooo much love when they are saved

Yes but to be honest I've never been a "people person" they irritate me too much and not ALL of the time but a lot of the times the homelessness is the persons fault ... Animals well they can't hold down jobs and start up drugs so it's easier to feel sorry for them.

I feel bad for all creatures that have no home or food. There are many homeless people that have lost jobs, and therefore homes. I have great compassion for them, because they are always trying to make things better.
I don't feel bad for people that are homeless by choice because they are too lazy to work. They sponge off others because they think the world owes them a living.
Homeless animals are usually the result of irresponsible owners. I say if you don't have time to properly care for a pet, you shouldn't have one. The same goes for children.

I feel bad for both but, homeless people created their forte in life and people created homeless animals. It is a sad state of affairs and all we can do as better off individuals is give what we can to ease the problem. A good question, very worthwhile thinking about.

As much as I love animals I feel sorrier for the homeless people because a lot of them who are homeless are that way because some one decided that it was easier to empty psychiatric hospitals with out making sure that the people would take their meds or that they had some place safe to live.

I feel sad to see homeless dogs, how horrible people are to not take care of their pets properly. Homeless people can help themselves , go get a job and still suffer miserably like the rest of us.

I feel sorry for both. I love animals and have 3 adopted dogs myself. One, I have with an older gentleman that fell in love with her and I allowed the dog to go with him. Being an older gentleman with a fixed income I go pick her up and bring her here to take to the vet and keep her shots kept up and do basic grooming. I then take her home, being from the dog pound we had to get her fixed within 30 days. It made her hard to adopt out and she was getting put down. I had given them my phone number before I left with the one in the picture. Both my Jack Russels sleep with me at night. I love them tooooo much. I wish I was rich I would take care of all the elderly people that had dogs and couldn't provide care. What a dream huh?

Yes, I feel worse for animals. For dogs, especially. I volunteer in urban animal welfare and am really aggravated by people who accuse us of caring more about animals than people. But animals are voiceless, powerless and have far fewer rights----and most cannot even defend themselves from humans.

I feel much worse for people....animals were meant to be wild....People are meant to have homes. And I've watched so many things on people who are working full time jobs and yet are still homeless....its awful...and yes people can do things to help themselves but sometimes deppression and crap like that can take you so low and things seem so hopeless you can't help yourself. I feel much worse for people
