It is in the southern hemisphere. That is why it is called The Land Down Under. And no, they don't walk on their heads. LOL.

Are you serious? What do they teach you at the schools in your part of the world? Do they teach you geography? Hw can you NOT know where Australia is?

ok aussies out there, we have to put up with this nonsense from americans who have no idea about geography, we're used to them.

grab a atlas, find the north pole, then find the south pole, about half way between it there will be the equator...its that line that pretty much cuts the planet in two. above the line is north, below the line is south.... still with me?

good...

okey dokey... australia is below the equator, which in common language is called S-O-U-T-H.

therefore by some miracle of the gods, we are in the S-O-U-T-H-E-R-N hemisphere!

I would sacrifice my child to the gods if this one belonged to me!
