And not preach to them all about breastfeeding.
We all know breast is best ,so here's the thing that is a little annoying .
When mom's on here ask questions about baby bottles, such as which are best and which one's did everyone use or which are good for colicy babies, it annoys the crap outta me that instead of just answering the question everyone is soo quick to preach to them about breastfeeding instead. Some women cant breast feed, some just dont want to . Formula works great , never been proven to be harmfull. So I guess im just trying to say that we should all just answer the question and not deviate from it. It just annoys me that instead of answering the question some people just say breast feed instead . They dont even bother answering the question. Im sure I'll get tons of answers saying I'm all kinds of bad words but I'm just commenting. Im sure other mom's out there get annoyed just as much as I do about this same problem

WOW, finally people that actually get my question and answered it without losing track of what I was actually talking about. Thanks to all for answering it in a simple way. :) I notice so many questions get long , drawn out confusing answers that by the end of the persons answer I myself am actually confused as to what they are even talking about in the end. Kudos momma's. :)

If a woman is asking which kind of bottles are best for pumped milk, she will most likely get a straight answer. Otherwise lactivists feel the need to inform about the choice she might be making.
Because not all women know the real hazards of formula. You proved it yourself when you wrote "Formula works great , never been proven to be harmfull."(sic)
Thats just not true. Many formulas have been recalled. They will never give the benefits of human milk.
Breast is not "best." It is normal, anything else is subpar. So many women have been brainwashed to think that they have every right to make this "choice" no matter how it harms their baby. (And there are sooo many questions here about how to fix babies that are hurt by formula, and mothers trying dozens of fake milks because they made this "choice" without the facts.)
Formula is a substitute for babies that would die without it. It was never meant for ALL babies.
Here is some actual data on the subject:

I totally agree with you, too. I have always been pro-breast, though never a breastfeeding nazi. Unfortunately, my milk dried up over the span of about a month. During that time I used Avent bottles, and my daughter transitioned very well with the broader nipples. Now that she is totally formula fed, I still use the Avent bottles, and she seems less gassy. Probablly because I love spicy food, and my husband always complained when I didn't watch what I ate! But I really like the air flow system of the Avent bottles, and the fact that since my daughter was used to feeling my breast on her upper lip and chin, that she could get the same sensation with the Avent nipple, and she didn't refuse my breast when I still attempted to breast feed.
Sorry, I know this post wasn't about baby bottles, but if any moms read this looking for advice, I'd def. recommend the Avent.

Hi Sweetie,
I am a mom of three and I breastfed all of them, but I agree with you. The decision to nurse or formula feed is a very personal one. Breastfeeding is not right for everyone for a huge variety of reasons and each mom has to decide what is right for them. Encouragement to breast feed is one thing, but most people are way too pushy about it!! I have yet to meet a formula fed baby that did not grow up as healthy, hearty, and well adjusted as breastfed ones. Love to you--MissDelanne

One of my twins actually prefers bottled milk to breast milk. The other prefers breast milk. No preaching from me, I promise. Formula really helped when my little one was lethargic due to a a high bilirubin, I am so grateful I had it availible to me. Personally I still feed both ways, but I understand your frustration. If the baby is eating there should be no complaints. (okay that last line is preaching)
I really like Parents Choice bottles, my babies respond best to it.

It's alot like women who go natural and who look down upon c-sections. It makes them feel as though they are better for doing such. In a world filled with laziness these women think a little work has put them above other mothers. Not that being proud is bad, but judging others is. But I also think as was said above you will find this in any category you look in.
There's always an ***hole in every bunch.

well ur far from any kinda bad words....lol...i successfully breast fed all 5 of my children from 3 months to 9 months each kid stopped at a different age due to either medical reasons, to another pregnancy, to just them not wanting the breast........n i formula fed them all...as for baby bottles i found that if your breast n pumping a bottle with a large round nipple works best to go back n forth.......but its really up to your baby which nipple they prefer...i used the playtex with the drop in bags...the wide nipples worked easy for transitioning from breast to bottle..........with my last baby whos 10 months has been on formula since she was 6 months due to me returning to work n not being able to successfully pump i put her on formula.......i use the new gerber ones n they now have sippy cup nipples that can interchange on the bottles.....n handles...i love these n made the trasition from breast to bottle to sippy cup(n there spill proof) with out a fuss so for all of the people out there considering formula try the breast if its not some thing your comfortable with at least you tryed n your your babys momma your there gardians the caretaker of there lives....my sister couldnt breast feed her milk didnt come in...so for 2 weeks everything looked normal till her baby got sick n they found out she hadnt even eaten in almost 2 weeks...so theres many reasons why some choose bottle n some choose breast.... all in all congrats on having a baby in the first place n do what ever feels right for you, your family, and your baby....

I completely agree... These women on here are freaking psycho about the breast, and chew you out and make you feel like a worthless parent because you didn't breast feed! I breast feed for a month, I just didn't produce enough milk and by the end of the month nothing was coming out... But do these psycho crazy women on here understand that? NO!!!! I cried all the time after ward, these crazy heifers on here made me feel like complete udder crap because I couldn't breast feed... I can almost bet you that half of these crazed lunatics haven't ever had kids, or never breast feed them selves! BREAST FEEDING YOUR CHILD AT 3 IS JUST FREAKING DISTURBING ANY WAYS! Besides... They will chew women out who are breast feeding that pump and put it in bottles... First off what about the working women? Are they suppose to tote the baby around and pop the booby out at work? NO! These psycho crazed women on here need to loosen there bras and get over them selves because their children are not god or any better than any one else's child because they breast fed! GET OVER YOUR SELVES!!!!!!

You will find this controversary in everything from:
religion to atheism
vegetarian to meat eaters
sexually liberated to those who wait for marriage
illegal aliens versus legal aliens rights
republicans versus democrats
The point being is there are boors who love to give you their opinions about everything. I think you are right about this. If the person doesn't have anything helpful to give the person who asks the question, they should just go past and not put in their two cents.
