i live in toronto, im planning to go to ryerson, taking management or hospitality courses

i went to the U fair, their presentation really convinces me

i checked that many ppl in this board rather prefer other U over ryerson. i told ppl im goin to ryerson and they would give me wierld look

wut so bad about ryerson

Ryerson is one of those schools that is very career-focused, unlike full universitites. They talk a lot about how their faculty are full-time professionals teaching part-time, rather than traditional academics, and make a big deal about convenience and relevance. Those aren't the focus of most academic universities (more like trade schools), so such schools (and Ryerson isn't alone in that) are not terribly well-respected within the academic community or among companies looking to hire graduates of top universities, but they do find jobs, if that is what you are looking for.

I haven't heard anything bad about Ryerson. It is considered a very good school.
