why are our troops over there/what are they doing there?

They're over in Iraq- trying to keep a "Peace", - that doesn't exist.... And we're paying for it- with their lives & our Money. :(

Hell is going on in Iraq. Our troops are being killed off
and they shouldn't even be there. Our country is going
broke, people here are doing with less and paying more
for it.

I do admit it is difficult to get the REAL story about Iraq from the drive-by media ..but the surge is actually working - hopefully it can stay that way ; but that still remains to be seen . The Sunni's are actually joining forces with Iraqis' & our U.S. Military AGAINST the insurgents .

There over there to cause instability in the region in order to maintain high gas prices and the CDN'S in Afghanistan to oversea the Taliban's manipulation of the locals in poppy production. Oil & Opiates a la Bush.nothing like being used!

a VERY good question, since all the media is doinmg now regarding Britmney Spears and OJ sIMPSON. i COULD CARE LESS. wHAT IS HAPPENING IN IRAQ and Afgan, arealtive of the family is in Afgan haveb;t heard from him in weeks.

What's happening over there is our troops are getting killed and coming home in body-bags all thanks to that idiot whom some refer to as our president. I like to think of him more as a national disgrace who ought to have been impeached a long time ago, but that's just me.
