Counter question, if God were indeed just a concept imprinted on the minds of men, would an ontological existence alone satisfy you into a doctrine of belief?

This is the age old question that many scholars have tried to find out.
The idea of God, is he a person? A spirit? Or just an idea thought up in the early times?
Depending on who you ask and what religion they are you will get MANY answers, ranging from that he is the creator of all to that he is nothing more than a hoax.

God is not an idea in itself .
God would be rather the precursor to an idea of Might and devil whom you want to thank and blame for all Good and Ugly.

He could be an idea, or he could be a passing thought. Maybe SHE is just a story created by our ancestors to try and explain the un-explainable. Either way I dont think we will ever be able to prove the existence of god! And I have to say that drives me crazy!

God is an idea of those who want to accept Him on faith only, no proof. I was raised not to question His existence, and though people tried to talk me out of Him in college, I am happy where I am with Him.

God is beyond your mind so no one can explain it.
Tell me is forest an idea or reality?
Trees,animals and rocks are real but forest is a concept but still we know it exists.
For me GOD is the only non-existence that exists.

For me his not..for many times I've been asking His existence..do we really have God, what if we evantually discover that for so long we live in lies..but I realized that life without Him is different and difficult..His reality can be seen on the scriptures..it is better to live believing in Him than die not and come face to face with Him.

GOD is whatever you believe. It doesn't matter what others think. No one really knows so take whatever you've been taught in your life along with any personal experience and decide if it makes sense to you or if you believe in some higher power that we weren't meant to understand.
