its been raining alot in Aventura,FL and before going to school this morning around 6 it was still dark and there was a very heavy thunderstorm but i saw something strange is saw 3 green flashes of light one on the street, one in the air, and another next to a condo these seem to be lamps that light during thunderstorms but since I saw on in the air it freaks me out they flash and go away they seem like explosions the light seems to come from the lightning and then spread and stop help?

These lights are probably caused by electrical transformers blowing out when they are hit by lightning. I believe the green light is caused by vaporized copper.

I see this during most thunderstorms when I used to take observations...it is likely a transformer blowing out due to the lightning strike.
